Portrait of Xuelong Fu
Resident Fellow

Xuelong Fu focuses on the AI dossier and breakthrough innovation. In the Netherlands he completed three bachelor's degrees, in AI, business administration and political science, plus a master's in International Organisations. That combination was no coincidence: he was convinced early on that technology, entrepreneurship and policy cannot be understood separately from one another. He then took a master's in Technology Policy at Cambridge, with a graduation project at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy on neuromorphic AI as a strategic technology for the Netherlands.

Alongside his studies he founded the Data for Public Impact Network foundation, which encourages policy entrepreneurship among students, researchers and young professionals. He also leads the Oxford Computational Political Science Group, where he previously did computational research into disinformation in the EU. At the Delta Institute those threads come together in policy entrepreneurship within the AI dossier.
